Leading Toward the Agile Mindset

I attended the Agile Mindset course offered by Gil Broza in April 2016. This two-day hands on training focuses on Mindset and how one can uses the Agile Values and Principles to utilize in his/her daily life.

The following is the outline of the course:

This two-day course will provide prospective Scrum masters, product owners, and team members with an understanding of core Scrum practices. This includes an overview of the roles and responsibilities of Scrum team members, the importance of good communication, and the role of project stakeholders. Scrum basics covered include the use of product and sprint backlogs, the use of iterative development in the form of sprints, performing daily stand-up meetings, the use of sprint reviews and retrospectives, and using Scrum task boards and burndown charts for monitoring and reporting project progress. Key learnings: Software Development Environment (SDLC), Agile Manifesto & Principles, applyingAgile concepts to Project Management, solution-focused Agile development practices, product-focused Agile development practices, process-focused Agile development practices, identifying when to utilize Agile practices and implement Agile projects.
